The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is one of the countries of the Levant. It has many interesting archaeological sites, because this spot of land has been followed by nations and civilizations very much, in addition to its proximity to the centers of power in most of the times, apart from its close proximity to the centers of the emergence of religions such as Palestine and the island Arabic, and we must not forget that many of the prophets and messengers have spent part of their lives in this blessed land. One of the most prominent archeological sites in Jordan is the palace known as the Umra Palace, or as it is called in the other name of Qusayr Amra, a reference to its relatively small size, a palace of desert palaces that spread here and there, dating back to the Umayyad period of Islamic history; It was built in the time of the Umayyad caliph Yazid ibn Abd al-Malik, who is considered the sixth caliph of the Umayyad caliphs. It is believed to have been built for hunting purposes, an activity that was the successors of the Umayyad faithful. Located in the Azraq area, one of the most important areas in the Jordanian desert, it is about 100 kilometers to the north-east of Amman. The discovery of the palace of Amra is a scientist from the Austrian state, Alois Moselle, where he was discovered in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight. The palace consists of a rectangular reception hall with a rectangular shape, with two nodes divided into three corridors. Each hall has a semi-circular shape. The middle hall is connected to two small rooms that were used for siesta. The rooms are on 2 heated gardens. The floors in the hall and the rooms were not ordinary, but were decorated with beautiful mosaics and decorated with floral motifs, while the other was painted with beautiful marble. This beautiful palace features very beautiful frescoes, painted in fresco or water colors. Moselle's frescoes were first published at the Academy in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the best frescoes discovered from all frescoes in different Umayyad palaces. In addition, the paintings of the mythological gods of the Greeks were found, in addition to many exciting things as a symbol of the sky. They are decorated with beautiful planets and stars. This painting was painted in the dome of the bathroom. Amra Palace contains many other facilities and various aesthetics that have imbued the artistic side of Islamic civilization.
